MacBook Pro

I was talking to a friend of mine, a drummer who also records and produces, about computers.

“When my friends all got those little cheap laptops, I was so jealous,” he said.

That’s what I’ve learned.  When you’re recording music, your computer becomes an investment, not a toy to surf the internet on.

I use a MacBook Pro, the small one.  It’s less than a year old, so it’s fast and has 2G of memory, which is filling up fast.  It’s nice, because on my old Mac laptop (a hand-me-down), I used to have to freeze tracks if I recorded too many of them.  That never happens now. 🙂
